As businesses compete for attention in an increasingly digital marketplace, many Philippine companies still lack a clear understanding of how their brands are perceived by customers, media, and other stakeholders.

Addressing this gap, Philippine public relations agency Brandcomm Asia (BCA) has introduced a complimentary PR Audit designed to help organizations evaluate their media presence, brand messaging, and overall communications health.

The website-based assessment is available to businesses of all sizes and aims to provide an objective review of a company’s public relations performance at a time when reputation has become an increasingly important business asset.

According to BrandComm Asia, insights gathered through client onboarding and a quick industry survey indicate that many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Philippines have never conducted a formal assessment of their public relations efforts, leaving potential gaps in brand visibility and reputation management.

“Many brands assume their PR is fine simply because nothing has gone visibly wrong,” said Daphne Sena, PR Accounts Director at BrandComm Asia. “But the absence of a crisis is not the same as having a strong, consistent reputation. We created this audit so that any business, regardless of size or budget, can get an honest, professional look at where they actually stand.”

The audit evaluates five areas that influence a company’s public profile:

  • Media visibility — how much earned media coverage a brand receives and how it compares with competitors.
  • Brand story strength — whether messaging remains consistent across websites, social media channels, press materials, and spokesperson communications.
  • Digital credibility — how trustworthy a company’s online presence appears through its website, search results, reviews, and social platforms.
  • Newsworthiness — whether the business has stories or developments likely to attract media attention.
  • Expert positioning — how effectively a company or its executives are recognized as credible voices within their industry.

Businesses that complete the assessment receive a prioritized set of findings and recommendations in about 10 minutes, with no cost or obligation to engage BrandComm Asia’s services.

Sena said the initiative is intended to make professional communications assessments more accessible, particularly for organizations that may not have dedicated public relations teams.

“Whether a company is just starting to build its public profile or is a multinational entering the Philippine market, an outside, objective view of their PR is something every brand can benefit from,” she said.

The free PR Audit is now available to businesses across the Philippines through BrandComm Asia’s website.
