The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) has officially pulled back the curtain on DigiCon 2026, marking the 11th year of what is widely considered the country’s most influential gathering for the digital and tech sectors.

Set to take place on October 15 to 16 at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel, this year’s conference centers on a provocative theme: “Interoperability: Welcome to the Age of Collaboration.”

Moving beyond silos

In a digital economy often fragmented by competing platforms and isolated data sets, DigiCon 2026 is positioning “interoperability” not merely as a technical standard, but as a strategic mandate for survival.

The organizers argue that the next wave of Philippine economic growth will be defined by how seamlessly technology, creators, AI, and government policy can interface with one another.

“The future will not be built in silos. It will be shaped by connections, synergies, and ecosystems of collaboration where ideas, technologies, and communities converge,” said Raymund Sison, Co-Chair of DigiCon 2026 and Lead at Lennon Group.

Shayne Madamba, DigiCon 2026 Co-Chair and IXM executive, echoed this sentiment, noting that the 2026 edition is designed to bridge the gap between traditionally separate disciplines. “What’s next is working together across industries and across technology,” Madamba noted.

What’s new: The road to DigiConX

This year, DMAP is evolving the conference format by introducing DigiConX — a series of “pop-up” satellite events leading up to the main October summit. Led by Brian Yap (RGC) and Nikki Sunga (BBDO), these activations aim to maintain industry momentum and foster localized networking long before the doors open at Marriott.

Co-chairing this year’s edition are Raymund Sison of Lennon Group and Shayne Madamba of IXM, supported by Dale Lopez of Tony &, Director for Creative & Experience; Alan Fontanilla (The Pod Network) and Pam Sulit (Splash) leading Partnerships & Sponsorships; and Mori Rodriguez (EON) as Director for Publicity.

The conference will be anchored by five specialized tracks designed to address the multifaceted nature of the modern digital landscape:

  1. Immersive: Led by Denise Haak (RS2 APAC)
  2. Interactive: Led by Pat Del Castillo (Viber)
  3. Innovation: Led by Gino Nacianceno (Cult Tech)
  4. Integrated: Led by Jordan Santos (Publicis JimenezBasic)
  5. Impact: Led by Shayne Madamba (IXM)

Scaling innovation through connection

For DMAP President Miko David, the goal of DigiCon 2026 is to serve as the “connective tissue” of the Philippine digital ecosystem.

“When AI, platforms, agencies, brands, and creators work together, innovation scales,” David stated. “That is what DMAP exists to do: connect the ecosystem and turn collaboration into meaningful progress for the industry.”
