PalawanPay, the fast-growing e-wallet of the Palawan Group of Companies, is rolling out what it calls the country’s largest Christmas gold giveaway, with up to ₱1 million worth of gold prizes up for grabs every month from November to December.
The promo, dubbed “Gintong Pamasko,” officially opens on November 19, 2025, and gives PalawanPay users nationwide a chance to win gold bars and coins through everyday transactions on the app. The initiative marks one of the most ambitious holiday campaigns launched by a Philippine fintech player to date, positioning gold not just as a reward but as a financial asset.

The promo aligns with the group’s broader strategy to strengthen the financial resilience of its user base by integrating traditional assets like gold into digital platforms.
How the promo works
Users earn raffle entries by completing qualifying transactions on PalawanPay from November 19 to December 31, 2025. Every transaction — from sending money to paying bills — counts toward a chance to take home gold prizes.
The campaign features multiple prize tiers:
Grand Prize:
- One winner of ₱1,000,000 worth of gold!
Eligible transactions: Send Money (excluding wallet-to-wallet), Pay Bills, QR PH Scan-to-Pay, Pawn Renewal, Buy Load, Claim International Remittance
Category Prizes:
- Five winners of ₱200,000 worth of gold (Send Money via Instapay, remittance to Palawan Express branches, or international transfers)
- Five winners of ₱100,000 worth of gold (Pay Bills)
- Five winners of ₱10,000 worth of gold each for the following categories:
- QR PH Scan-to-Pay
- Pawn Renewal
- Buy Load
- International Remittance Claiming
To qualify, users must complete at least four eligible transactions per month.
Winners will be announced on PalawanPay’s official social media pages and via email.
Strengthening a “bricktech” ecosystem
The launch of the Gintong Pamasko promo builds on PalawanPay’s rapid growth as part of the Palawan Group of Companies’ “bricktech” model — combining digital tools with the accessibility of its extensive on-ground network.
The group operates more than 70,000 branches, Palawan Express Pera Padala outlets, and PalawanPay Money Shops nationwide, enabling Filipinos to transact digitally or over the counter.
