Credit card promos in July: Cashback, travel, dining and shopping deals for you to check

Credit card promos in July are giving Filipino cardholders several ways to save this month, from cashback and travel discounts to dining, fuel, gadgets, installment plans and welcome offers.

As always, users should review the promo period, qualified cards, minimum spend, registration requirements and exclusions before swiping.

Some offers are open to all qualified cardholders, while others may require registration, a unique code, or specific card types.

Cashback and spend-based offers

Credit Card Logos

BDO is running its Spend Anywhere Cashback promo until July 31, 2026, offering as much as ₱7,000 cashback for qualified travel, dining and shopping spend using BDO credit cards. The promo covers BDO Mastercard, Visa, JCB, UnionPay, Diners Club and American Express cards. 

BPI also has its Back-to-Back Perks promo for eligible cardholders, with July spend windows depending on approval date. Qualified transaction types include retail purchases, Special Installment Plan transactions, Credit-to-Cash, school and hospital SIP, balance transfer, utility bills payment and Pay Bills via Credit Card. 

Travel, hotel and dining promos

For dining, BDO cardholders can get up to 35% off at participating SM Aura restaurants until July 26, 2026, valid from Thursday to Sunday, including holidays. Participating restaurants include NIU by Vikings, Paradise Dynasty, Ogetsu Hime, Greyhound Cafe, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and others. 

RCBC Premium credit cardholders may also check the HEAT Edsa Shangri-La promo, which runs until July 31, 2026. Eligible premium cards can get up to 50% off buffets, depending on the card type and schedule. 

For travel, BPI Platinum Rewards cardholders can get 12% off hotels, flights, attractions and tours on Trip.com until September 2, 2026, subject to promo codes and discount caps. EastWest credit cardholders can also get up to 5% off hotels and flights on Trip.com through the bank’s partner page. 

Metrobank cardholders planning Cebu stays can check hotel offers of up to 41% off, with select partner hotels running promos that remain valid into July 2026. 

Gadgets, fuel and installment deals

EastWest is offering a back-to-school Buy Now, Pay Later installment promo until July 31, 2026, allowing qualified credit cardholders to shop at partner merchants and pay two months later at 0% installment for up to 24 months. The minimum purchase amount is ₱3,000, unless otherwise stated by the partner merchant. 

EastWest JCB credit cardholders can also get bigger Unioil fuel discounts from July 1 to August 31, 2026, including ₱8 off per liter on Gas 95, ₱6 off per liter on Gas 91 and ₱5 off per liter on diesel. 

For home and lifestyle spending, Metrobank cardholders can get 10% off regular-priced UV Care items and 0% installment for up to 12 months until July 31, 2026. BPI cardholders can also check Anson’s offers until July 31, 2026, including up to 45% off on select items and Flexipay options for qualified credit cardholders. 

Welcome and card acquisition offers

HSBC is running a waived annual fees for life acquisition promo for eligible applicants until July 31, 2026. The promo requires, among others, a locally issued primary credit card from another bank for at least six months and a minimum annual income of ₱400,000. 

UnionBank Miles+ cardholders may also check the bank’s FX promo, which runs until July 31, 2026 and offers a low 1.8% foreign currency fee plus 3x miles or points on qualified foreign currency transactions. 

With many promos tied to specific cards, branches, booking links or registration steps, consumers should compare whether the discount is worth the spend requirement. A promo can help reduce costs, but only if the purchase already fits the cardholder’s budget and repayment plan.
