Fastly launches partner certification program to boost security expertise and service offerings

Fastly, Inc. (NYSE: FSLY), a global leader in edge cloud platforms, has unveiled the Fastly Certified Services Partner Program, a new initiative aimed at equipping technical security professionals at partner organizations with advanced training and certification to implement and manage the company’s security solutions.

The program comes at a time when 72% of executives report a rise in cyber threats, driving demand for trusted security expertise and certified implementation partners.

Designed as a self-guided program, the certification allows participants to deepen their knowledge of the company’s security tools while earning credentials at their own pace. Partners who complete the program gain access to exclusive resources, including early insights into Fastly’s innovation roadmap, invitations to technical labs and webinars, and ongoing educational content.

“Equipping our partners with advanced training and certification enables them to expand their service portfolios, create new revenue streams, and deliver greater value to their clients,” said Jeff Alpen, VP of Global Partnerships at Fastly. “The Fastly Certified Services Partner Program is a pivotal step in strengthening our global channel ecosystem and enhancing value for both customers and partners.”

For partner organizations, the program opens opportunities to deliver certified implementation services, while giving customers greater choice and flexibility: they can now have the company’s security solutions implemented either by Fastly’s professional services team or a certified local partner. Upon completion, organizations earn the “Certified Services Partner” designation, and individual participants receive the title of “Certified Professional for Security Implementation.”

Ben Trafton, VP of Client Services at Yottaa, highlighted the program’s value: “Fastly’s new certification program reinforces our partnership and empowers our team with the technical knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results for our customers. It’s a unique benefit that enhances our go-to-market capabilities.”

Certification program strengthens partner security and services

Fastly’s certification initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to equip partners with the skills and knowledge to navigate AI-driven cyber threats, improve service offerings, and enhance global security infrastructure for customers.

The company’s programmable edge cloud platform helps leading brands deliver fast, secure, and engaging online experiences. Its offerings in edge compute, delivery, security, and observability improve site performance, enhance security, and support innovation at scale.

Trusted by organizations such as Reddit, Neiman Marcus, Universal Music Group, and SeatGeek, the company empowers developers to build secure websites and apps with rapid time-to-market and cost efficiencies.
