Atome Philippines is expanding its digital payment ecosystem through a partnership with ECPay that enables users to purchase prepaid mobile load directly within the Atome app.

The new feature allows more than three million Atome Cardholders to buy SMART, Globe, and DITO prepaid load using their Atome Card, making everyday transactions more convenient from a single platform.

The integration adds another essential service to the app’s growing list of payment features. By allowing users to manage mobile load purchases alongside other daily expenses, Atome continues to position itself as a digital financial platform that supports budgeting, payments, and rewards in one place.

The latest feature allows Atome Philippines users to purchase prepaid load for the country’s three major mobile networks — SMART, Globe, and DITO — without leaving the app.

Through its partnership with ECPay, customers can complete transactions using their Atome Card while enjoying a streamlined payment experience.

Adding prepaid load reflects the growing demand for digital platforms that support routine financial activities beyond shopping and bill payments. Mobile connectivity remains an everyday necessity for millions of Filipinos, making load purchases one of the country’s most frequent digital transactions.

By integrating this service into its platform, Atome provides users with greater convenience while reducing the need to switch between multiple applications.

Beyond mobile load, Atome Philippines continues to expand its ecosystem of everyday financial services. Users can manage spending, monitor transactions, and earn Atome Rewards points through a single application, creating a more integrated digital finance experience.

The addition of prepaid load complements the platform’s existing payment and budgeting features by bringing another common household expense into one digital interface.

This approach aligns with the broader fintech trend of developing “super apps” that combine multiple financial services in a unified customer experience.

Reward points earned through eligible transactions also provide added value for users who regularly rely on the platform for their daily financial needs.

Strengthening digital payment adoption

The partnership between Atome Philippines and ECPay demonstrates how collaborations between fintech companies and payment service providers continue to expand digital payment options for Filipino consumers.

As more financial services become available through mobile applications, digital platforms are evolving beyond lending and installment payments into comprehensive financial ecosystems. Features such as prepaid load purchases encourage greater engagement while supporting the country’s ongoing shift toward digital transactions.

With consumers increasingly looking for convenient, all-in-one financial solutions, partnerships that broaden service offerings are expected to play an important role in the continued growth of the Philippine fintech sector.

Expanding everyday financial convenience

The new prepaid load feature highlights Atome Philippines’ continued efforts to simplify everyday financial transactions through digital innovation. By enabling users to purchase SMART, Globe, and DITO prepaid load directly within the app, the company is expanding the practical value of its platform beyond payments and credit services.

As fintech providers continue enhancing their ecosystems, integrated services that combine payments, budgeting, rewards, and everyday transactions are likely to become increasingly important in shaping the future of digital finance in the Philippines.
