GoTyme, the digital bank, says milestone reflects growing customer trust as it expands lending, investments, and international remittance services.

GoTyme Bank has surpassed 10 million users and accumulated more than P53 billion in customer deposits, marking another milestone for the digital bank just over three years after its launch.

The latest figures come as competition among digital banks continues to intensify in the Philippines, with financial institutions racing to attract customers through lower fees, digital-first services, and broader financial products.

GoTyme Bank CEO Nate Clarke said the milestone represents more than customer growth, describing it as a reflection of the trust Filipinos have placed in the bank.

“Reaching 10 million users is an important milestone on our journey to become the Philippines’ largest and most loved bank, but for us, it’s really about the trust that millions of Filipinos place in GoTyme Bank every day,” Clarke said.

He added that the bank will continue working to make banking “simpler, more accessible, more affordable, and more beautiful” for Filipinos.

Debit card usage drives everyday banking

GoTyme attributed its growth to increased customer engagement across its ecosystem, including savings, payments, remittances, investments, and lending.

According to the bank, its Visa debit card is currently the most-used Visa debit card in the Philippines based on Visa’s 2025 active debit card usage data.

The bank also highlighted that it has offered free InstaPay transfers since its launch, allowing customers to transfer funds without paying transaction fees — a feature that has become increasingly important as banks compete for digitally active customers.

Expanding physical and digital access

Although positioned as a digital bank, GoTyme continues to expand its physical presence to complement its app-based services.

The bank now operates more than 600 kiosks across Robinsons Retail stores and SM branches nationwide, supported by over 1,200 Bank Ambassadors who assist customers in opening accounts in five minutes or less.

Customers can also deposit and withdraw cash through more than 2,500 Robinsons Retail checkout lanes, while cash deposits are available in over 4,500 7-Eleven stores across the country.

The physical network aims to make banking more accessible for customers who still rely on cash while transitioning to digital financial services.

Beyond savings and payments, GoTyme has continued expanding its financial ecosystem by adding investment, lending, and international money transfer services.

Customers can pay bills to more than 160 billers through the mobile app, while also gaining access to cryptocurrency and Philippine stock investments from within the same platform.

The bank said more than one million customers now have early access to MoreTyme, its suite of credit products. The platform enables installment payments through QRPh, purchase conversion, virtual credit cards, and cash access services, while emphasizing transparent pricing without hidden fees.

GoTyme has also integrated Wise into its platform, allowing customers to send money overseas using the global remittance provider’s network.

Building trust through everyday banking

As digital banking adoption continues to grow in the Philippines, GoTyme said its latest milestone reflects changing consumer expectations, with customers increasingly valuing convenience, accessibility, and user experience alongside financial security.

The bank said it plans to continue expanding its offerings across international remittances, investments, and credit services as it pursues its goal of becoming one of the country’s leading digital banks.
