Smart Communications has expanded the availability of its Smart Home WiFi Postpaid service to more than 100 Smart Stores nationwide, allowing customers to sign up for a plan and take home a plug-and-play modem without waiting for fiber installation.
The company said the service is now available in Smart Stores across North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao. The expanded footprint covers more than 1.3 million households in about 3,200 barangays.
The move gives households another broadband option in areas where fiber may not yet be available or where customers prefer a wireless setup that can be installed immediately.
“We want to be more than just a service provider; we aim to be a dependable partner in our subscribers’ journey toward their goals,” said Marjorie Garrovillo, First Vice President and Co-Officer-in-Charge of Smart.
“By expanding to more communities, we are enabling more Filipinos to seamlessly connect and focus on what matters most —whether that’s staying close to family, excelling in school, or starting a new passion project.”

Smart Home WiFi Postpaid comes in two plans.
Home Plan 1499 includes unlimited 5G data and a free plug-and-play modem that can support multiple connected devices.
Home Plan 999, meanwhile, offers 200GB of 5G data, an additional 2GB daily allocation, and a data rollover feature that lets subscribers carry over unused data from their monthly allocation. The plan requires a one-time modem fee of ₱995.
Both plans are subject to a 24-month lock-in period and include Smart Perks and GigaPoints rewards. Subscribers may also purchase additional data through the Smart App or Smart Online Store.
Before applying, customers can check whether their location is covered by verifying that their Smart mobile phone receives a 5G signal and by using the company’s online 5G coverage checker.
Smart said subscribers are also covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee if 5G service is unavailable at their registered address.
To coincide with the nationwide rollout, Smart is offering a promotional discount until Aug. 31, 2026.
New Smart Home WiFi Postpaid subscribers, as well as existing Home Plan 999 customers upgrading to Home Plan 1499, will receive 50% off their monthly service fees for the first four months.
During the promotional period, Home Plan 999 will cost ₱499.50 per month, while Home Plan 1499 will be available for ₱749.50 per month before regular monthly rates take effect for the remainder of the contract.
