As students prepare for another school year, smartphones have evolved beyond communication devices. They now double as classrooms, research tools, creative studios, and everyday companions, making reliability just as important as affordability.

Recognizing this shift, realme has introduced the realme C100, a smartphone designed to meet the demands of student life by combining long battery life, enhanced durability, AI-powered productivity features, and fast charging into a single device.

“The realme C100 brings together great design, massive battery life, dependable durability, smooth everyday performance, powerful imaging, and practical AI features,” said Jeth Nilooban, Product Marketing Manager at realme Philippines, during the device’s launch. “It’s built to keep up with your day from morning to night.”

Built for long days, tougher student life

With its 8,000mAh Titan Battery, the device can last up to 1.7 days on a single charge

One of the device’s biggest highlights is its 8,000mAh Titan Battery, which the company says can last up to 1.7 days on a single charge. The battery is also engineered for longevity, retaining up to 80% of its health after seven years of use, helping students get more value from their investment over time.

“After a busy day of social media, streaming, gaming, and everything else you do on your smartphone, you can still have around 40% battery left,” he said. “That’s the kind of confidence the 8,000mAh Titan Battery gives you.”

Nilooban said the goal was to give users the confidence to get through an entire day without worrying about running out of power.

For students constantly moving between classrooms, commuting, or participating in extracurricular activities, durability is equally important. The realme C100 comes with IP69-rated protection and Military-Grade Shock Resistance, allowing it to withstand rain, accidental spills, and drops of up to two meters.

According to Nilooban, durability was another major design priority, as accidental drops and exposure to water remain among the most common causes of smartphone damage.

“The two biggest threats to smartphones are simple — drops and water,” he said. “The good news is, the realme C100 is built to handle both.”

The smartphone also features a 6.8-inch 120Hz Ultra Bright Display with up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, making it easier to read lecture notes, messages, and online learning materials even under direct sunlight. When it’s time to recharge, 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging powers the battery up to 50% in around 46 minutes.

Beyond battery life and durability, realme is also positioning the C100 as a productivity companion. Its NEXT AI features, integrated into the company’s realme UI, are designed to optimize connectivity, improve device performance, and support everyday productivity and content creation tasks.

Nilooban described the AI features as practical rather than gimmicky. “NEXT AI has been well received by realme users because it’s easy to use, practical, and genuinely helpful in daily life,” he said.

Photography, meanwhile, is handled by a 50MP rear camera, while storage options of up to 256GB provide enough space for school files, lecture recordings, presentations, photos, and videos without the need for frequent file management.

The device also includes Hyper Cooling technology to maintain performance during extended use.

Other features include a 400% Volume Speaker for louder multimedia playback and 48-month Fluency Optimization, which is designed to keep the phone running smoothly over several years.

Installment offers for students and parents

To make the device more accessible, the realme C100 is available through Home Credit’s 0% interest installment program at official realme stores and authorized retail partners nationwide, with payment terms of up to 18 months.

As smartphone makers increasingly compete on battery life, durability, and AI-powered features, the realme C100 reflects a growing effort to meet the practical needs of students who rely on a single device for learning, productivity, and entertainment.
