Premium devices are getting a more accessible spin in the Philippines as Digimap unveils the new MacBook Neo, positioning it as an entry point into the Apple ecosystem — backed by aggressive financing options and retail-driven experiences.
The device was introduced during a spring-themed launch at One Ayala, where the retailer staged a consumer-focused rollout aimed at students, young professionals, and first-time Mac users.
Branded around the idea of “Love at First Mac,” the launch leaned less on technical specs and more on usability — highlighting how the MacBook Neo fits into everyday workflows, from school requirements to light creative work and mobile productivity.
But beyond the lifestyle positioning, the bigger story is Digimap’s continued push to make premium technology more financially accessible.
A more affordable Mac — paired with flexible payment options

Starting at ₱39,990, the MacBook Neo enters the market as one of the most affordable Mac devices available locally. More notably, it is being offered with up to 24 months of 0% installment plans through partner institutions like UnionBank of the Philippines and Home Credit.
This aligns with a growing trend in the Philippines, where fintech-enabled payment solutions are increasingly driving consumer electronics adoption.
On-ground, customers at the launch were able to access real-time financing approvals, signaling how retail and fintech integrations are becoming central to device sales—not just an added perk.
Retail meets experience-driven commerce

The launch event itself drew strong foot traffic, with early buyers lining up ahead of store opening. Incentives ranged from high-value bundles — including a MacBook Neo paired with an iPhone 17e — to tiered freebies for the first 100 customers.
Beyond promotions, Digimap is clearly leaning into experiential retail. The event featured live entertainment, interactive demos, and lifestyle-driven setups designed to make the product feel less like a high-consideration purchase and more like an everyday essential.

The MacBook Neo rollout is part of Digimap’s broader strategy to expand Apple’s reach beyond traditional premium buyers.
Since entering the Philippine market in 2023, the company — backed by Indonesia’s MAP Group — has scaled to over 30 stores nationwide, with its flagship in Makati serving as a hub for both retail and brand experience.
Alongside the MacBook Neo, Digimap also showcased its wider Apple lineup, including newer iPhones, MacBooks, and iPads—further reinforcing its role as a one-stop ecosystem for Apple users.
The bigger play: lowering barriers to entry
Digimap’s approach reflects a larger shift in the local tech market: that premium is no longer just about price — it’s now about access.
With trade-in programs, installment plans, and financing options now standard across its stores, the company is effectively lowering the barrier to entry for high-end devices.
For Filipino consumers, that means devices like the MacBook Neo are no longer out of reach — they’re becoming part of a more flexible, finance-driven purchase journey.
The MacBook Neo is now available in all Digimap stores and online, with introductory bundles and financing offers running for a limited time.
