UnionDigital Bank is giving Filipino users a new reason to embrace cashless payments, launching a raffle campaign that rewards everyday digital transactions with a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Vietnam for two.

Running from May 8 to July 17, 2026, the digital bank’s “Goals Mo, Kaya Mo Raffle” encourages customers to use the UnionDigital app, particularly its recently launched QRPh Scan-to-Pay feature, for everyday transactions.

The campaign comes as digital banks continue to push wider adoption of QR-based payments in the Philippines, where financial institutions are accelerating efforts to expand financial inclusion through more accessible and practical digital tools.

According to Mike Magpily, the initiative aims to make digital transactions more meaningful for users while reinforcing the bank’s broader financial inclusion efforts.

“Our QRPh feature continues to make everyday transactions simpler, safer, and more accessible, helping move more Filipinos closer to financial inclusion,” Magpily said.

He added that the feature has seen growing adoption among sari-sari store owners, TNVS drivers, and daily wage earners, highlighting increasing confidence in digital payments among underserved sectors.

“Through initiatives like the Goals Mo, Kaya Mo Raffle, we hope to make every transaction feel more meaningful by giving users the chance to turn their everyday spending into opportunities that can bring them closer to their dreams, like a free trip to Vietnam,” he said.

The QRPh-enabled feature allows users to pay merchants, settle bills, and transfer funds to participating banks and e-wallets directly through the app.

UnionDigital said the platform offers secure transactions, real-time payment confirmation, and reduced dependence on cash — features designed to simplify day-to-day financial management.

The promo is being rolled out in partnership with EcoZone Travel and Tours, giving eligible users the opportunity to win a fully paid trip to Vietnam for two.

To qualify, users must download the UnionDigital app, open and verify a UD Save account, complete eligible transactions during the promo period, and follow UnionDigital Bank and EcoZone Travel and Tours on social media.

The winner will be drawn on July 20, 2026, and announced through UnionDigital’s official social media pages, the Ka-UD Facebook Community Group, and EcoZone Travel and Tours’ digital platforms.

The campaign reflects a growing trend among digital banks to combine financial services with lifestyle-driven incentives to deepen engagement and encourage more consistent usage of digital payment ecosystems.

As the digital banking sector becomes increasingly competitive, promotions like these signal how banks are looking beyond basic banking functionality to build stronger customer loyalty through experiential rewards.

A digital banking subsidiary of Union Bank of the Philippines, UnionDigital is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and focuses on expanding access to financial services for underserved and unbanked Filipinos.
