Through GBayanihan, GCash users can donate directly to participating nonprofit organizations and charitable causes supporting communities in need. The platform currently features more than 27 verified NGO partners, with organizations grouped according to causes such as disaster relief, social welfare, health, education, and children and youth.
For flood-affected communities, users can choose from disaster-relief organizations available on the platform and send donations directly through the GCash app.
How Filipinos can donate through GBayanihan
Users can access GBayanihan within the GCash app by tapping View All, scrolling to GBayanihan, and selecting an organization or cause they want to support.
After choosing an NGO, users can tap Give Support, enter their preferred donation amount, review the details, and confirm the transaction. GCash says there is no fixed donation limit, provided users have sufficient balance in their accounts.
GCash’s current list of official GBayanihan partners includes disaster-relief organizations such as Angat Pinas, GMA Kapuso Foundation, Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, Philippine Red Cross, and Save the Children Philippines.
The platform also provides users with access to information about partner organizations’ permits and certifications, giving donors additional visibility into the organizations they are supporting.
Making digital giving more accessible
