The LBP Resources and Development Corporation (LBRDC), a subsidiary of the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK), received three awards from the Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GCG) for its exceptional performance and commitment to service excellence.
The GCG is a creation of Republic Act 10149 or the “GOCC Governance Act of 2011,” which was signed into law on June 6, 2011. Its mandate is to serve as the central advisory, oversight, and monitoring body of the GOCC sector.
As stewards, the Governance Commission shall instil in GOCCs accountability, economic viability, and responsiveness in serving the needs of the public.

The LBRDC, which is presently engaged in construction, project management, brokering services, and real estate management and development, was ranked ninth among the country’s GOCCs in the CY 2022 Performance Scorecard for corporate governance.
Additionally, the corporation was recognized as one of the “Most Improved GOCCs” based on its Performance Scorecard Rating from CY 2021 to CY 2022.
LANDBANK, meanwhile, achieved the highest rating, securing first place overall.
These GCG awards underscore LANDBANK’s commitment to fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, and accountability within the organization and its subsidiaries.
