With the global buzz surrounding artificial intelligence reaching fever pitch, the Philippines, with its rapidly expanding and tech-savvy population, is no exception.

To help marketing executives, communications professionals, and PR practitioners navigate this evolving terrain, the AI Centre of Excellence (ACE) is hosting a groundbreaking workshop led by renowned artificial intelligence expert, Hemant Gaule, on March 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at The Holiday Inn & Suites Makati. The workshop, titled “Power of AI for Communications and Beyond,” shall offer a crash course for attendees on using large language models (LLMs) and generative AI for communication professionals to learn how to leverage AI tools and techniques so they may enhance their communication strategies, improve work efficiency, and achieve measurable results.

“Artificial intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept; it’s a present reality that is rapidly transforming the communication industry,” says Gaule, who leads the workshop on March 21. “PR professionals need to understand the potential of artificial intelligence and learn how to harness its power to stay ahead of the curve. This workshop will equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the age of AI-driven communications.”

AI center to provide cutting-edge education for PR pros

Gaule brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the workshop. An education leader based in Mumbai, India, he is passionate about education, artificial intelligence, and behavioral psychology. After graduating from the Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad, he has counseled several private, social, political and government initiatives.

He co-founded Citizens of Accountable Governance, a team that spearheaded the successful national election campaign of India’s current Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, in 2014. Gaule also co-founded and serves as Director and CEO of the School of Communications & Reputation (SCoRe), India’s only institute dedicated to education and research in public relations.

In 2019, he became the first Indian to be conferred as a Fellow Accredited Public Relations Practitioners by ASEAN PR Network. In 2022, he was named among 40 Young Turks of India by Reputation Today Magazine. In 2023, he was recognized as Asia Pacific’s Innovator 25, by PRovoke Media. 

The ACE workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Ethical considerations of artificial intelligence in communication: Discuss the ethical implications of using artificial intelligence in communication and how to ensure responsible and ethical practices.

The ACE (AI Centre of Excellence), is a tripartite partnership between the London School of Public Relations, the School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe), and Ardent Communications Inc. (ArdentComm).

It was formed to provide cutting-edge and high-quality education to cultivate faculty, professionals, and students in artificial intelligence and machine learning, specifically within communication.

ACE aims to foster collaborations between academia and industry, leveraging artificial intelligence methods to solve real-world problems. The center plans to train professionals, SMEs, graduate students, and undergraduate students in fundamental and applied artificial intelligence courses, preparing them to be a skilled workforce in both academia and industry.
