The difficulties of being an adult, or what I would refer to from hereon as “adulting,” is one of the hottest topics among the youth nowadays. I see it being discussed practically every day on social media and also as a topic of interest on various streaming platforms.

But there is nothing more challenging in the entire aspect of #adulting than handling your finances. I, for one, have actually experienced stress while dealing with finances. Thinking about how to augment my meager salary, how to deal with expenses, and how to take care of bills that continuously pile up. Add to this the need to keep track of my own savings and investments (if I have any).

These are all extremely exhausting — even frustrating — especially since I don’t have enough knowledge about how best to face them. If you are one of those in need of advice regarding finances but don’t have enough time, then this new podcast platform might just interest you.

Just recently, Quick Loans Online (QLO) launched a new podcast entitled “QLO Time Qs,” which aims to answer questions regarding finances. It also has a career advisory feature to help people reach their professional goals. Since it is just a quick audio broadcast, about 10-20 minutes max, people can listen to it while having their morning coffee or while on their way to work. Perfect for multi-taskers, right?

For each episode, QLO guest panelists composed of experienced industry leaders and professionals can be asked to answer five, quick-fire questions.

As of today, “QLO Time Q’s” already had four episodes. I’m providing a little preview here, just for you, to keep you updated on the previous episodes. Their answers will surely inspire and motivate anyone!

Episode 1: Quick Loans Online with Ruth Oquendo

This is basically a get-to-know episode about QLO, which is a risk-free salary loan program that provides an immediate credit line for the employees of their partner companies.

The guest panelist, Ruth Oquendo, Vice President of MR Angel Credit Corporation (MRACC), explains how companies can lessen the financial burdens of their employees by entering into a partnership with trusted financial providers like QLO.

“It is important that we address our employees’ emergency financial needs. This way, they will remain motivated and become more focused (at work). These positive conditions will allow workers to improve their services and productivity,” Oquendo said.

Episode 2: YOUnique Money Behaviors with Jayson Lo

Jayson Lo is a top-ranked speaker and creator of YOUnique. He is also the author of the best-selling book entitled, “Debtermined.”

Lo discusses the “Four types of Younique Personality,” which are the Dominant Eagle, the Influential Rooster, the Steady Carabao, and the Corrective Tarsier. He explains how each one has their own distinct personality traits and goes on to provide tips on how each one can maximize their financial gains. Curious about what type of personality you are and which financial practices are right for you? Better listen to this episode.

Episode 3: Choosing The Right Investment with Sun Life

This episode gives an idea not only about how to manage one’s finances but also about how to grow money with Sun Life, one of the leading insurance brands in the country today.

With Mon Osmena, Territory Manager Agency Sales of Sun Life Asset Management Company, listeners are given basic knowledge about investment, how one can start investing, and how an investment differs from savings. For those who wish to get a headstart in investment, this episode is for you.

Episode 4: Financial Resiliency with Malayan Insurance

This is another episode that features an insurance company. However, this one is perfect for those who already wish to retire and wants to be financially ready no matter what happens.

Listen to Anthony Luis Guanzon, Malayan Insurance’s Deputy Chief and Marketing Officer for Integrated Marketing and Communications, as he explains what financial resiliency really is all about and how one can apply it to one’s finances and overall life.
