Fastly has been named a 2026 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Edge Distribution Platforms, with enterprise users giving the edge cloud provider high marks for platform performance, reliability and customer support.

The recognition is based on verified customer reviews submitted to Gartner Peer Insights. As of April 30, 2026, Fastly held an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 92 reviews, with 95% of respondents saying they would recommend the platform.

The recognition comes as businesses across industries continue to expand their use of AI, placing greater demands on the infrastructure that powers digital applications and online services.

For banks, fintech firms and other digital-first businesses, that means finding ways to process growing volumes of data while maintaining fast response times, reliable performance and strong security.

Fastly said its edge cloud platform is designed to support those requirements by bringing computing resources closer to users, helping organizations deliver digital services with lower latency while supporting AI applications at scale.

Customers highlight reliability and support

Customer feedback published on Gartner Peer Insights points to consistent themes around Fastly’s technical capabilities and customer service.

Several reviewers cited the platform’s performance, flexibility and developer-focused design, while others highlighted the company’s technical support and ability to handle large-scale deployments securely.

The latest recognition follows Fastly’s inclusion as a Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Cloud Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) for seven consecutive years. The company provides edge cloud services covering content delivery, application security, edge computing and observability. Its customers include Reddit, Universal Music Group and SeatGeek.
