The inaugural edition of Digital Next Philippines 2026, a two-day summit focused on digital transformation and cybersecurity, concluded on a strong note in Makati City, drawing more than 400 senior executives, policymakers, and technology leaders.
Held at Makati Diamond Residences, the event positioned itself as a key regional platform for discussions on digital resilience, AI adoption, and cybersecurity strategy amid the Philippines’ accelerating digital economy push.
The summit gathered stakeholders from government, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), healthcare, hospitality, and the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector.
Across multiple sessions, participants explored real-world applications of artificial intelligence in enterprise operations, strategies for strengthening cyber resilience, and opportunities for deeper ASEAN digital integration.

Organizers said the strong turnout reflected growing urgency among both public and private sectors to modernize systems and strengthen digital infrastructure amid rising cybersecurity threats and rapid technological change.
A key highlight of the event was the participation of government representatives from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Their presence underscored the government’s push to deepen collaboration with the private sector on cybersecurity preparedness, policy development, and digital governance.
