The NCC Group was founded in 1999 and has governments and some of the largest corporations in the world as clients. Regarding the expected workforce, the company said that the Philippine office is the company’s largest location outside of the UK, but it is only the second such facility in Southeast Asia.
The IT company presently employs 70 locals at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, but it intends to grow to 500 employees. The company takes up the entire 37th floor of the opulent Seven Neo skyscraper.
According to Mike Maddison, global CEO of the NCC Group, the office space has billiard tables and a basketball court to encourage staff to unwind and be creative.
“Our people, a talented global community working together to create a more secure digital future, are our people, and they are what make our purpose possible,” Maddison said in a press statement.
“We are thrilled to be opening a new office in Manila and growing our global presence. In the upcoming months, we are eager to welcome our new coworkers as the city offers an amazing blend of highly educated tech and cyber competence,” he added.
Working with the best talents in PH
To develop cybersecurity talent that is ready for the workforce and cyber leaders who will assist the industry in the future, the NCC Group reported that it is already working with the best colleges in the Philippines to help them develop their curricula and sponsor core programs.

The partnership comes mainly in two forms, the first being assistance in crafting a curriculum for teaching information technology. The second is that the NCC Group extends training to graduate students who want to explore the possibility of working for a cybersecurity firm.
Saira Acuna, country director for NCC Group in Manila, stated, “Our new office in Manila gives people a great opportunity to be part of something new from the beginning but with the added benefit of being part of an established, global company.”
“My hope is that Filipinos will see NCC Group as the ideal place to launch or advance their cybersecurity career and that they will seize this chance to be a part of a rapidly growing industry,” he added.
The NCC Group’s chief operating officer, Kevin Brown, for his part, stated that BGC’s notable infrastructure development, meticulous attention to detail, and high level of security provide an atmosphere that supports its goals.
“By establishing our new office in Manila, we are augmenting our capacity to provide state-of-the-art cyber services to our international clientele and augmenting our cyber teams’ adaptability to accommodate forthcoming expansion and customer requisites,” Brown declared.
