Synology premieres full lineup of advanced data management solutions at COMPUTEX 2025

Synology premieres full lineup of advanced data management solutions at COMPUTEX 2025

Synology, a global leader in network-attached storage (NAS) and data management solutions, officially unveiled its latest lineup of cutting-edge innovations at this year’s COMPUTEX, Asia’s largest annual tech show, presenting a comprehensive solutions portfolio spanning enterprise storage, data protection, and personal private cloud.

Synology 1 1

“At Synology, our goal has always been to build a data management ecosystem our customers can trust. We design our solutions to offer not only unparalleled ease of use, but also industry-leading security, reliability, and data privacy, empowering both organizations and individuals to manage their data with confidence,” said Philip Wong, Chairman and CEO of Synology.

Following the successful launch of ActiveProtect, Synology introduces the DP7200, its new 2U backup appliance, taking its data protection lineup up a notch. This new appliance can be deployed as a standalone backup server at branch locations or as a CMS host at headquarters. It ensures that clean, recoverable copies are always available when needed through its unified data protection for workloads across the entire organization.

It also has built-in immutability and network isolation to safeguard against cyber threats.

Synology’s New ActiveProtect lineup: DP7200

Synology 2

The 25 Series lineup: DS725+, DS425+, RS2825RP+, RX1225RP

As the demand for data security and management continues to evolve, Synology expands its 25 Series lineup with DS725+, DS425+, RS2825RP+, and RX1225RP.

Following the launch of the DS925+, DS1525+, and DS1825+ in the past months, Synology offers users even greater flexibility and capacity options to meet diverse storage needs with these new solutions.

The 25 Series lineup is engineered as a full-featured system to deliver consistent performance and reliability with Synology hard drives, which follow a carefully curated drive compatibility framework and have undergone over 7,000 hours of rigorous testing to significantly enhance long-term system dependability.

To ensure optimal integration and long-term dependability, the DiskStation Manager (DSM) on the 25 series requires compatible hard drives for installation.

BeeStation Plus: a private cloud designed for families

Synology 3

Designed for families, BeeStation Plus is a private cloud solution offering automatic backup
of iCloud photo libraries and integration with Plex Media Server for seamless video streaming. It supports snapshot-based local recovery and off-site cloud backup through BeeProtect, safeguarding cherished family data and memories.

BeeStation Plus can also support smart home surveillance when paired with the Synology CC400W camera. With a new mobile application, it offers intelligent detection of human presence, pet activity, ambient sounds, and tampering — delivering instant alerts to keep users informed of everyday events.
