STT GDC expands digital ecosystem in PH, partners with Globe, Radius, and Source Telecoms

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) Philippines is strengthening the country’s digital backbone as it welcomes Globe Telecom, Radius Telecoms, and Source Telecoms as its first connectivity partners at its flagship STT Fairview 1 facility in Quezon City.

The three partners mark the beginning of a growing carrier-neutral ecosystem within the 124-megawatt STT Fairview campus, which is expected to play a pivotal role in powering the Philippines’ digital transformation and AI-driven economic growth.

“Connectivity is fast becoming the backbone of every digital business in this AI- and cloud-powered era,” said Carlo Malana, President and CEO of STT GDC Philippines, in a press release.

“Welcoming Globe, Radius, and Source Telecoms as our initial connectivity partners demonstrates our commitment to carrier neutrality. We are empowering customers with network choice, scale, and resilience — crucial for mission-critical operations and AI ambitions,” he added.

STT GDC: Building the foundation for an AI-ready future

The STT Fairview 1 data center is on track to become the largest carrier-neutral campus in the Philippines, offering enterprises, hyperscalers, and AI providers access to robust, high-speed, and redundant network routes. It is designed to support the increasingly data-intensive and low-latency demands of cloud computing, financial services, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence workloads.

In a significant development for the local digital infrastructure landscape, STT Fairview 1 will be directly linked to STT Makati through the company’s Virtual Metro Campus service.

This integration gives customers at Fairview access to the extensive interconnection ecosystem of STT Makati — including over 50 domestic and international carriers and major internet exchange (IX) platforms such as BBIX Manila, GetaFIX Manila, GIX, and MHK-IX.

The result is a seamless, high-capacity network fabric connecting northern and central Metro Manila, offering enterprises improved redundancy, high bandwidth, and ultra-low latency performance. This connectivity ensures business continuity and reliability for organizations deploying advanced workloads such as AI training, data analytics, and real-time financial services.

Globe, Radius, and Source lead the connectivity push

Each of the three new partners brings a different strength to the table, reinforcing STT GDC’s strategy of carrier diversity and customer choice.

“As a joint venture partner and key network provider, Globe Business is deeply invested in the success of STT GDC Philippines,” said KD Dizon, Head of Globe Business. “Our expansive network infrastructure enables seamless, secure data exchange for customers across the archipelago and beyond.”

Radius Telecoms, known for its 100% fiber optic network, will deliver high-performance connectivity built for enterprise workloads. “Our robust, 100% fiber optic network is engineered for the high-performance and low-latency demands of today’s enterprises,” said Exequiel Delgado, President and CEO of Radius Telecoms. “Partnering with STT GDC Philippines allows us to extend this reliable connectivity to the country’s newest and biggest data center campus.”

Meanwhile, Source Telecoms emphasized its agility and service quality as differentiators. “At Source Telecoms, we make data center connectivity truly seamless — our resilient network spans nearly all major data centers, ensuring unmatched reach and reliability. With quick response, fast delivery, and professional, personalized service, we’re more than a provider — we’re a partner you can always count on,” said Cheryl A. Florendo, VP for Commercial Sales and Partnerships at Source Telecoms.

“We are thrilled to support businesses of all sizes at STT Fairview 1, helping drive growth in the digital economy,” she further stated.

Strengthening the Philippines’ digital readiness

When STT Fairview 1 goes fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2025, it will deliver 124 MW of IT capacity, powered entirely by renewable energy.

As part of the global ST Telemedia Global Data Centres network, which operates more than 95 facilities worldwide, the Fairview campus represents one of the most ambitious digital infrastructure investments in the country.

Designed for AI workloads and hyperscale expansion, the facility will also feature advanced sustainability measures, modular scalability, and built-in resilience to support the nation’s growing cloud and fintech ecosystems.

“Through carrier-neutral data centers like STT Fairview, we’re building the digital foundation that enables enterprises to innovate faster and operate securely,” Malana said. “This is how we contribute to the Philippines’ readiness for the next wave of digital transformation.”
