Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Philippines was recently recognized as “Best in Foreign Market Coverage” (First Place) at the 2023 Fund Managers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (FMAP) Awards.

This is the second consecutive year that the bank received this esteemed recognition, which highlights its commitment to continue providing world-class banking services across its markets and in the Philippines.

The bank also won Best Fixed Income Salesperson (First Place) for the fourth consecutive year for Mari Toni Bautista, Standard Chartered Bank’s Director, Head of Financial Markets and Financial Institution Sales.

“We are thankful to the FMAP for the recognition and confidence in our capabilities. This award highlights our commitment to serve our clients as we keep up with the changing markets,” Bautista said.

The FMAP Awards honors the best analysts, economists, traders, and salespeople as chosen by its member institutions for both the fixed-income and equities markets.

Since 2001, it has been recognizing exemplary performance of tasks that aid the decision-making of the fund managers and contribute to their own track record of performance as fund managers.

The Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) is composed of local equity and fixed-income fund managers with the primary mission of helping uplift the investing public economically through professional fund management that adheres to ethical standards and recognized practices globally.
