PRSP and DMAP back ACE’s “The Power of AI in Communications” workshop in Manila on March 21

The AI Centre of Excellence (ACE) is joining forces with the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) and the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) to present “The Power of AI in Communications and Beyond,” a vital seminar addressing the growing impact of artificial intelligence on the communications landscape.

This event will take place on March 21, 2025, from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Makati.

PRSP, now on its 67th year of service as the country’s leading organization for public relations and communications professionals, and the DMAP, the country’s premier digital marketing association driving digital learning and skills development since 2007, shall serve as key partners in this initiative.

After 16 years of guiding companies, agencies, and organizations through the ever-changing digital landscape, DMAP (which was previously known as IMMAP), has recently been rebranded with the aim of opening more doors for the diversity of individuals, companies, and brands involved in digital marketing transformation.

PRSP, for its part, has been dedicated to recognizing the importance of PR in business and empowering the people who drive it. It is currently composed of practitioners from various industries including business, government, non-profit organizations, medical, education, tourism, and other professional services. The organization aims to “advance the welfare of the Filipino people through dignified, effective, and relevant practice of the art and science of public relations.”

This mission is fulfilled by continuously cultivating PR as an avenue that builds public confidence in an individual or organization, encouraging the study and improvement of PR among aspiring and seasoned practitioners, correcting and preventing abuses in PR that tend to undermine public trust, and serving as a center of information of latest data to its members. Throughout its service, PRSP has held prestigious events that uphold the important contributions of PR practitioners, cultivate stronger relationships among members of the organization and the industry, and accompany them in honing their talent in PR.

Recognizing the increasing need for communicators to understand and effectively utilize AI – a concern recently underscored by a PRSP survey of its members – this seminar offers timely and relevant insights.

With industry giants like OpenAI CEO Sam Altman forecasting significant job market shifts due to AI, this seminar provides crucial tools and strategies for navigating this evolving environment. Attendees will gain invaluable knowledge from leading AI thought leader Hemant Gaule, empowering them to leverage the power of AI for success in communications and beyond.

ACE seminar highlights

  • Practical applications: Attendees will learn how AI can enhance various aspects of communications, including media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and personalized messaging.
  • Expert insights: Hemant Gaule, Co-founder and Dean of SCoRe, who has trained over 2,000 PR professionals globally on AI applications in communications, will lead the session. Additional companies from sponsoring organizations like PRSP and DMAP will also contribute and share industry insights.

  • Exclusive PRSP and DMAP member discount: PRSP and DMAP members can avail of an exclusive partnership rate of Php 6,000 (regular rate Php 10,000).

The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, offering both in-person attendance at the Holiday Inn Makati and online access via Zoom. Successful participants will receive a certificate of completion from ACE, to be validated by SCoRe, LSPR, and ArdentComm.

DMAP and PRSP partnership

The DMAP and PRSP’s partnership with ACE for this particular workshop underscores their respective organization’s commitment to empowering their members with cutting-edge knowledge and tools.

This collaboration shall provide PRSP members with exclusive benefits while reinforcing the society’s position as an industry leader. Members of DMAP, on the other hand, will gain a wealth of knowledge and practical skills from attending the ACE workshop, giving them a clearer understanding of how AI is transforming the digital marketing landscape.

The AI Centre of Excellence (ACE) is a tripartite partnership between the London School of Public Relations (LSPR), the School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe), and ArdentComm. It was formed to provide cutting-edge and high-quality education to cultivate faculty, professionals, and students in AI and machine learning, specifically within communication.
