Metrobank earns distinction as PH’s “Most Recommended Retail Bank” from The Asian Banker

Metrobank has recently been honored as the Most Recommended Retail Bank in the Philippines by The Asian Banker during the Global Excellence in Retail Finance Awards.

This distinction stems from The Asian Banker’s Annual BankQuality™ Consumer Survey, which garnered feedback from over 12,000 customers across Asia in January 2024.

The survey evaluated participants’ engagement and satisfaction with retail financial service providers, considering their experiences with services, channels, and products.

According to The Asian Banker, Metrobank has gained considerable acclaim from its clients for its reliable financial services and seamless banking experience. These factors contributed to Metrobank’s BankQuality score of 101.48, the highest among participating banks in the Philippines and the 6th highest among banks in Asia.

This positive client feedback aligns with a study conducted by NielsenIQ in 2023, where Metrobank emerged as one of the Top Recommended Banks in the Philippines.

Over a thousand respondents indicated their likelihood to recommend each bank mentioned in the survey to their peers, with Metrobank outperforming other major local banks and maintaining this position since 2022.

For Metrobank, these accolades serve as validation that the bank is effectively fulfilling its commitment to clients as their trusted financial partner at every stage of life.

Metrobank remains dedicated to offering reliable and relevant banking services to assist clients in achieving their goals, whether individuals building their savings, aspiring entrepreneurs launching new ventures, or established individuals managing their wealth growth and distribution.

Digs Dimagiba, Metrobank’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the bank’s enduring mission of keeping Filipinos in good hands. He expressed gratitude for the recognition from clients nationwide and global banking experts like The Asian Banker, highlighting Metrobank’s dedication to helping clients and communities thrive.

As Metrobank celebrates its meaningful partnerships with clients through these awards, it reaffirms its commitment to becoming a partner in their success. The launch of a new film titled “Grow with Metrobank” symbolizes the millions of Filipinos whose journey to growth and success has been supported by the bank over the past 60 years.

The film showcases stories such as those of successful Metrobank clients Gigi and Andy, mother-and-son bakers whose bakeshop benefited from Metrobank’s support.
