Digital Pilipinas, the largest private sector-led movement for creating an innovation and technology ecosystem in the Philippines that is actively engaged in a global digital economy, has recently joined forces with the Global FinTech Institute (GFI).
Through this partnership, Digital Pilipinas and GFI have committed to jointly launch initiatives that are aimed at building expertise amongst fintech professionals.

Such initiatives include GFI being the content adviser and certification partner of the upcoming Digital Pilipinas Festival and Philippine Fintech Festival Year 2, which is slated to be held between October 2 to 5, 2023, at the SMX Aura in Taguig City.
Digital Pilipinas Festival and Philippine Fintech Festival attendees will be awarded GFI certifications – one of the most widely accepted global certifications on FinTech.
These certifications are directly connected to the exclusive C-suite masterclasses on frontier technologies – Smart Cities & PropTech, Digital Finance, Open Economy and Lending, Big Data, AI Industry Applications, InsurTech & HealthTech, and TrustTech (Cybersecurity & GovTech), all of which are slated to take place throughout the festival.
The Global FinTech Institute (GFI) is a global professional credentialing body dedicated to certifying FinTech professionals globally. It is now regarded as the leading global industry organization for the advocacy, collaboration, knowledge, and inclusive use of FinTech.
Established to create greater collaboration, advocacy, ethics, and knowledge for all FinTech professionals, the Singapore-based think tank also empowers its members and the community to leverage FinTech for growth and transformation via community engagements, as well as by facilitating collaborations and knowledge-sharing.
The institute also promotes best practices and co-develops standards and guidelines for the fair use of Fintech by providing education and training to build industry capabilities and groom talents in FinTech.
