In 2024, the conducted a comprehensive evaluation of TDD Massive MIMO technologies, comparing 8T8R, 64T64R, and other configurations. After in-depth analysis, the 32T32R solution emerged as a better choice, offering exceptional performance and cost efficiency.
Led by DITO Telecommunity Wireless and Network Planning Senior Advisor, Mr. Vincent Zhou and assisted by ZTE, with fast delivery and installation, ZTE and DITO launched the pilot site in high-demand areas.
Then, the 32T32R deployment achieved outstanding results compared to 8T8R.
In May this year, during the celebration of ZTE Day 2024 in the Philippines, the company showcased a comprehensive portfolio of ICT products and solutions, featuring 5G wireless, transmission, fixed network, maintenance solutions, and terminals. ZTE also exhibited its latest technologies and solutions tailored to the needs of DITO and expressed increased support to help boost both telcos’ brand value.
