Converge pushes beyond connectivity with new Super FiberX and GameChanger Plans

Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. is upping the ante in the country’s broadband race, unveiling its most powerful and affordable fiber plans yet — Super FiberX Ultra, Super FiberX Prime, and GameChanger EZ — as part of its push to go “beyond connectivity” and evolve from a traditional telco into a full-fledged techco.

The new offerings were officially launched at “X4U: Amped Up Life with the Power of X,” held at the Trinoma Activity Center, a three-day digital lifestyle event featuring interactive games, live music, and exclusive giveaways.

At the event, Converge executives not only announced new speed tiers and features but also outlined the company’s broader vision: to redefine how Filipinos connect, work, and play in a fully digital world.

From telco to techco: Building the Philippinesdigital future

During the media Q&A session, Converge executives discussed how the company is intentionally transforming from a telecommunications provider into a technology company — a techco.

“If we want the Philippines to be part of a strong digital future, moving away from the traditional telco model is the only way,” said JP Aguilar, SVP and Consumer Business Group Head at Converge. “A telco is all about connectivity. But a techco is about the entire digital experience — data centers, agentic AI, sustainability, and human empowerment.”

He emphasized that this shift is a conscious, strategic decision aimed at giving Filipinos access not only to fast internet but also to the full spectrum of digital tools and innovations that power modern life.

Super FiberX: 1 Gbps for ₱2,599

Leading the new lineup is Super FiberX Ultra, Converge’s most affordable 1 Gbps plan yet — up from 800 Mbps previously, with no change in price at ₱2,599 per month.

“With Super FiberX Ultra, households can now enjoy uninterrupted online activities simultaneously without compromising performance,” Aguilar explained.

For those who want near-gigabit performance at a lower cost, Converge also introduced Super FiberX Prime — 800 Mbps for ₱2,099 per month — expanding its range of high-speed, value-packed plans, shared Anthony Esporlas, Senior Product Manager.

Both packages include a WiFi 6 modem, Converge Xperience Hub, and SkyTV channels, ensuring subscribers enjoy both superior connectivity and entertainment in one plan.

Going deep into Visayas and Mindanao

Converge is already established in Mindanao, and executives revealed plans to expand further.

“We’re going to get even bigger in Mindanao, and we’re going very strong and bold in Visayas, too,” Aguilar said.

He explained that while Converge’s early footprint focused heavily on Luzon, its growth in Visayas and Mindanao accelerated after the pandemic. “Even though we’re relatively new in those regions, customer acceptance has been overwhelming. Our founder, Dennis Anthony Uy, instructed us to go national — and now that we are national, our next move is to go deep. We are reaching 2nd to 5th class municipalities because our principle is simple: leave no one behind.”

GameChanger EZ: The plan built for gamers

For the country’s fast-growing gaming community, Converge introduced GameChanger EZ, a ₱1,800 per month fiber plan offering up to 400 Mbps speeds and a network gaming prioritization feature.

This proprietary technology prioritizes gaming data traffic for lower latency and jitter, ensuring a lag-free experience even during peak hours — a first for the local broadband industry.

“Having fast, fiber-powered internet is important, but Converge goes further by prioritizing gaming traffic,” said Myrtle Sarrosa, actress, streamer, and Converge GameChanger Ambassador. “They make sure we enjoy smooth streaming and lag-free gameplay, which is crucial for winning multiplayer battles. With GameChanger EZ, it’s now easier to dominate online games. It’s a true game-changer.”

Early adopters of the EZ plan (first 100 subscribers by December 31, 2025) will also receive a TUF Gaming Mouse and ₱250 worth of Razer Gold credits.

Expanding access, empowering more Filipinos

When asked about the company’s support for the government’s “Konektadong Pinoy” initiative, Aguilar said, “We practically started that movement. Our CEO Dennis Uy always says, ‘Leave no one behind.’ That’s the heart of Konektadong Pinoy.”

He highlighted Converge’s rapid expansion during the COVID-19 pandemic as proof of its commitment. “Even in lockdown, we worked nonstop. What took our competitors decades, we achieved in a few years. Now, everyone’s connected, and that’s what we’re proud of.”

Subscribers who sign up for any new FiberX plan between November 15 and December 31, 2025, are also eligible for Converge’s “Christmas to the Power of X” raffle, where 300 winners will take home a Samsung 55” QLED TV worth ₱34,000.

Sustaining growth and confidence

Converge reported close to 3 million subscribers as of Q3 2025, a milestone attributed to strong market acceptance and consistent service reliability.

“With these new high-speed plans, we are catering to users who want to level up — gamers, techies, and anyone looking to fulfill their digital aspirations,” shared Sandra Zira Tubale-Dingal, Head of Consumer Marketing.

“Whether it’s for gamers chasing low latency, families streaming in 4K, or professionals working remotely, Converge’s newest plans represent the brand’s promise to push beyond basic connectivity. With faster speeds, smarter devices, and added entertainment options, the Power of X is all about redefining what it means to be connected — faster, stronger, and more seamless than ever,” she added.

Powering the next digital era

Converge remains the fastest internet provider in the Philippines, according to Ookla® Speedtest Intelligence® (Q1–Q2 2025), and continues to hold titles for Best ISP Video Experience and Best ISP Gaming Experience.

Whether for remote work, streaming, or smart home living, the new Super FiberX and GameChanger plans reflect Converge’s next chapter — one where innovation meets inclusivity.

“The model isn’t dying,” Aguilar concluded. “It’s being reborn — and that’s the most exciting opportunity we’ve ever faced.”
